INDUSTRIAL DESIGN MEETS PIXEL NOSTALGIA 

The inspiration for this collaboration came from the visit of Behrens founder Mr Lin Bingqiang to my workshop. In my collection of old devices he noticed an antique electricity meter, which echoed a similar industrial artifact he owned. This moment of serendipity sparked the idea to translate the anesthetics of vintage industrial instruments into a modern watch design.

Vianney Halter works like an artist, expressing his creativity and his style through the skills he masters:  horological construction and horological arts.

He has been an independant watchmaker since 1984, this allows him to have total creative freedom.

As a curator of ancient tools, inspired by grand masters of the past, he works alone the traditional way in his laboratory.
